I’m a Khmer living in Canada and I’ve never stopped to learn to read/write/understand our language. :) The khmer heritage and culture is part of my soul,my identity and my spirit. Nobody can’t touch it, it always has a big place in my heart forever in the eternity.

    It’s part of the …
It’s part of the Thai government’s “nation-building” project: they try to minimize their ethnic minority citizens which share a culture with border nations (Khmers, Laos) from establishing too strong of a solidarity with their sisters and brothers across the borders. However, the way Surin Khmers are treated by the Thais is nothing compared with the oppression of Khmae Kraom by the Vietnamese.

    Dear Ksem,

I well I have no objection with your comment at all. Like you’ve said that it is better than do nothing.

Many people may think it is useless, but for me it is the duty. And that makes the differences between Mr. Ksem and me.
