Thank you again Mr. Frank Smith. Your program is very educational and interesting. Yes, Cambodia used to be a very big kingdom. But now is small because of losing land to the neighboring countries. Khmer is very kind and generous. There are many different people living in Cambodia. Khmer has many ethnics and unique, just like the United States of America. I think Cambodia is a mini USA in the southeast Asia.

champa living in cambodia very long time ago 14** century ( because they lost the war with the viet they run to cambodia )
some khmer king kill champa peoples in cambodia >> reason they involved to khmer politics and during khmer rouge 1975-1979 they kill near 100,000 champa at this time champa population estimate 250,000 !
250,000 – 100,000 = 150,000 and some champa run to lao and vietnam !

This is so interesting. I sometimes forget that there are Chams in Cambodia as well as Vietnam and I’m glad that Khmer people are tolerant and accepting of this minority. The grandma at the end of the video reminds me so much of my grandma. She even speak kind of like my grandma. Thanks for the video!

Thank you lok krou Frank, the old couple at the was cute. My cousins in srok khmer are chams and they live in kompong speau area. When i visited srok khmer last year, i went to their house and the area they live in have a lot of islam mosque. My cousins couldn’t eat pork, something about pork being dirty animals, not quite sure. Thank you for the lesson, your shows are always interesting.

We alway live along side the muslim people in Cambodia,infact my Cambodian barber in siamreap is a muslim old man,the carpenter is muslim,the metalsmith is a muslim man also,he usd to make sword for my father,when the water rise in Cambodia we would go out at night and literally chop down fish swimming in shallow water

I read about the …
I read most of it from the internet, found out how Vietnam formed. Well, you can see the “strongest the fitness”. Cambodia disappeared from the world map for a blink too. Don’t know how the future will turn out to be. Chams ancient arts are kinda Hindu influented too. I saw some pitutes of ancient sculptures and temples that showed.
I read about the Chams Kingdom. I just found out its existen six months ago.
