This is so interesting. I sometimes forget that there are Chams in Cambodia as well as Vietnam and I’m glad that Khmer people are tolerant and accepting of this minority. The grandma at the end of the video reminds me so much of my grandma. She even speak kind of like my grandma. Thanks for the video!

Thank you lok krou Frank, the old couple at the was cute. My cousins in srok khmer are chams and they live in kompong speau area. When i visited srok khmer last year, i went to their house and the area they live in have a lot of islam mosque. My cousins couldn’t eat pork, something about pork being dirty animals, not quite sure. Thank you for the lesson, your shows are always interesting.

We alway live along …
We alway live along side the muslim people in Cambodia,infact my Cambodian barber in siamreap is a muslim old man,the carpenter is muslim,the metalsmith is a muslim man also,he usd to make sword for my father,when the water rise in Cambodia we would go out at night and literally chop down fish swimming in shallow water
