It is also very important to have / develop a mind that is well versed in the realtities of how the world does work ($), yet is still open and creative enough to seeing other ways that it can work. If you see a need that is not being addressed, simply keep digging at the problem (ask everyone even remotely related to the issue everything you can) and if a new non-profit is needed, go ahead and do it (after your second round of questions)...SCORE.org is a group that helps small businesses start. anonproft is similar in many ways. It may, however, be the best use of your time to work with organizations that may already be addressing this need. Your help can help them become more efficient with their assistance. Will you personally deliver the materials and do the teaching, or will you donate to a larger organization? Next you should start some fundraising - bottle drives, selling stuff, collection jars.
